EMDR 2-Day Intensive

Service Description

A condensed, in-depth approach to trauma work- designed to help you process and move forward more efficiently than traditional weekly sessions. This also includes a pre-intensive 60-90 minute preparatory session and two 50-minute follow-up/integration sessions, along with two 6 hour days of EMDR. **This is a service that requires an application and that you be approved before booking it. A non-refundable deposit of half service fee will be required to book this service following approval of application. When you don't have time to commit to weekly therapy or want to have meaningful movement more quickly an intensive can be a great option. While you can't expect everything to all of a sudden be perfect following an intensive you can expect for there to have been a meaningful shift. What to expect: Following approval of your application you will receive a phone call or message to schedule a time for a call. We will go over any follow up questions either of us may have to ensure a good fit, then schedule your preparatory/history gathering session. You may be sent additional paperwork to complete prior to that session. A deposit of half of the total fee will be due at this time. We will also pick a two day appointment slot from those I have available at this time. On the days of the intensive we will begin at 9am with breaks ever 60-90 minutes and a lunch break about half-way through ending at 3:30pm. Your follow up/integration sessions will be scheduled at the end of this. After we have completed, I can follow up with your weekly therapist if you already are seeing someone as well.
